what is rhizoo kids?
Rhizoo is ACC’s name for our children’s programming for kids of all ages! Rhizoo is a Biblical Greek word that means to cause to take root, to strengthen with roots, or simply: deeply rooted.
While we are pleased offer programming each week, we are a family focused church who love having our kids with us during worship and the sermon.
We believe that by deeply rooting our kids in the Bible, they will be set up for a life devoted to Jesus!
what to expect
normal sundays
ACC is glad to offer childcare & teaching for all children, Newborns through 5th grade. For the young ones (3 and under) parents are able to check-in and then drop their children off at the Discoverers classroom (upstairs by the restrooms) before our service begins. Follow the signs for directions, or ask anyone with a badge!
For children who are potty trained and 3 & older, after they are checked in downstairs, they will join us during the worship portion of our service. We believe that all children should experience worship with their parents, but understand that for those generally younger than Kindergarten, it provides a challenge. You are more than welcome to have your younger kids with you throughout any portion of the service!,
table sundays
On the last Sunday of each month, we do things a bit differently, called Table Sunday. We have programming for children Pre-K and under, as per usual.
However, for all children in Kindergarten and up, we have them join us in the sanctuary or fellowship hall during worship and the sermon.
We always have lots of tables setup in the Fellowship Hall for families, and have drawing pads and crayons available in multiple locations for the kids to keep their hands busy.
We understand this is different than most churches, but we feel it is of vital importance to ensure kids of all ages experience church with people of all ages!

Navigators (4th & 5th Grade)
**Ages 3 & Older go to their classrooms downstairs after Music**
With the exception of the Discoverers class, all of our classes use a Curriculum called “Gospel Light”. We believe it’s curriculum is well thought out, Biblical, and easy for Kids to understand and grasp. Gospel Light is a rotating 2 year curriculum, so each child will experience something different each year, while still being rooted in Biblical teaching.
