We were pleasantly surprised this week to receive a notification that Anacortes Christian Church’s podcast was listed among the top 35 church podcasts, according to feedspot.com, a company that helps online marketers and bloggers reach their audiences. The ranking was based on an automated process that took the following into account:
- Google reputation and Google search ranking
- Influence and popularity on Facebook, twitter and other social media sites
- Quality and consistency of posts.
- Feedspot’s editorial team and expert review
This was quite a surprise, especially considering ACC doesn’t use Feedspot’s services, and we didn’t really expect to show up on any major radar or ranking system. Now, there are literally thousands of excellent church podcasts out there, and we would not claim to be superior. But what this tells us is that there is an active online interaction with our church and that people are engaging with the content and therefore with God’s Word. Thank you to all who take time to listen. We pray continually that God speaks to you through the messages we post, and that the Holy Spirit enables you to experience healing and a fruitful life through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
