Please note: During the summer, starting June 23rd, 2019 we only have one 10 AM service. We will return to our normal 2 service schedule in September.
WHAT TO EXPECT
1. You will be greeted and handed a bulletin
2. The worship team will lead us through songs, inviting you to worship God through music.
3. You will be given an opportunity to worship God by celebrating communion as a congregation.
4. One of our ministers will talk about what the Bible has to say about real life.
5. There will be a closing song, and you will be dismissed!
6. You will be honored and respected.
After the service, you are free to leave, though we warmly invite you to stick around in the Fellowship Hall, or downstairs while grabbing your kids. Enjoy getting to know some new people over a cup of coffee or tea.
WHAT TO WEAR
Come as you are, or feel free to dress up. You will find a lot of jeans, a lot of slacks, some dresses and some shorts. God is not concerned about your dress; he’s concerned about your heart.
First Service is not available between June 23rd through September. We offer one combined service at 10 AM.
We offer an 8:15am gathering (except during the summer) that is smaller, more intimate, and meets in the Fireside Room downstairs. While the preaching is the same for both services, the music is scaled-back, and is more traditional, utilizing hymns and praise choruses interchangeably.
Our 10:00am gathering is larger and takes place in the main auditorium. Music is usually led by a full worship band, and while we try not to cater to any particular style, (see WORSHIP ARTS to read about our philosophy on this), you could describe our second service as contemporary, but accessible. We employ the use of hymns, and newer songs as we see fit.
Both worship gatherings are intended to provide environments where you can join a community of believers and worship / fellowship with them. We invite you to join either, recognizing that we are one body, sharing the same Lord and the same purpose together.
Anyone is welcome to attend on Sundays. While our gatherings generally follow a basic service order, we always leave room for the impromptu and unexpected, as led by the Spirit. We like to think of each gathering as a journey – a journey that anyone can connect with no matter where they’re at in life. Whether you come with love, joy, and laughter, or sorrow, grief, and pain, you are welcome here. It is our hope that you will experience the love of God through worship, through teaching, or through the people you encounter at ACC.
